	| SR20 and 3SGTE are not at all comparable. 3SGTE never came in front engined RWD configuration, so you have to make fully custom mounts, work on a water outlet, and you have the problem that the engine was designed to sit on a slant of 15 degrees off vertical. This introduces issues in the form of poor oil draining. Some people keep the engine on a slant, others have tapped into the oil galleries on side of the head, and others have simply gone with a high volume sump.
Furthering the issues, bellhousing butchery is required.

A 4A is a good option. Many beleive that it lacks spice in NA form in the 1000kg first gen celica chassis, but in GZE trim, it has oodles of torque. Naturally, a well built GTE will outperform the GZE, but you lose some of the responsiveness and low end torque. Read up. There is tonnes of info on these forums. Have a perve in the members rides to see what people have done, and for a good account on the engineering required to put a 3SGTE into an RA28, have a look at Joel's thread. It is lower down this page as we speak.
