Wakefield yesterday (Wheel nearly comes off!)

Hey guys, I went on the track yesterday, had a great time, and for my first outting, and crappy road tyres, I think I did ok. Anyways, when I took my 18" wheels off, for my 16", I threaded one bolt due to those damn tyre mech, with their rattle guns, I had to stand on the tool that takes the nut off, causing it to thread. Only 4 bolts were holding the wheel, but I still continued to race. 3 sessions in, I hear a "knock knock" sound, I pull in, and check the wheel, all the nuts are loose, so I tighten them all up, and call it quits. On the way home, the knocking got worse, pulled over and re tightened the nuts, further down, I pull over again, to find NO wheel nuts on the hub. I found them abour 2m behind the car!! 9Lucky I stopped. This is a lesson, dont race, or even drive, with no nuts! 
Exp day for me, with towing from Mittaging to sydney
