Please don't stroke it!! It removes all revving characteristics of the engine, and basically you have a 22R with a flowing head. I know for sure that I prefer driving my 18RG RA23 to my Dad's 22R 'lux.

If u wanna larger capacity RG, you can bore it out to 2.2L (92mm I think) with no ill effects. The problem with this, however, is you need new, probably custom pistons ($$$). If you stroke it, it will be 2.4L, will have boatloads of low end torque, but it won't be revvy like an RG.

PS i dunno what your appplication is, and if it's in a hilux, the stroked option would be significantly better.
