first, figure outif this is a clutch or transmission problem.
clutch dragging.
how's reverse - cold & warm?
that'll tell you if it's dis-engaging OK.
if it's OK, then it's the trans, but i really doubt it, and different oil wouldn't help in any case.
different gear oil does help, sometimes, in the opposite condition of difficult shifting when cold but fine when warm.
