its been covered
i've done this exact conversion myself so feel free to pm me some questions u've got but search here first or ill kick ur ass j/k
depends how far you want to go, youll probably want to upgrade brakes and suspension as well. Also add in a twin cam strut brace at the front and twin cam sway bay for the front as well. that will help the thing go around the twisties.
then you'll need an efi tank and fuel lines.
the standard 4ac gearbox will work with the 4age but wont last too long if u thrash the hell outta it, its toyota tuff but it aint that toyota tuff
you'll need a clutch for the 4age and i'd personally replace all teh clutch and flywheel bolts at the same time, its a piece of piss to do when the engine is out of the car so just do it, that way you dont have to worry about the flywheel coming off and cutting your legs off.
otherthings to do while your there, water pump on the 4age should be replaced looking bout 90-100 bucks for the pump. I'd get the injectors cleaned and flow tested as well, make sure they're all good. Mine were shot and i had to get new ones, well reco'd ones cost about 180ish for 4. place called PetroJect at stepney can do the testing/cleaning for you thats where i went and i also got my new injectors from them too, good blokes.
thats pretty much it, other than the usual stuff like spark plugs oils fluids ect ect. the 4ac radiator seems to stand up to daily driving but the temps do seem to creep up after lots of hard driving ie hills runs ect ect. so if possible get an ae92 radiator or a custom core made up and modify the end tanks to suit. all the engine mounts do line up fine and it really is a bolt in conversion. but the tricky things are the electronics and gettin the efi setup all done.
basically i spent about 1500 on the engine package which included pretty much everything i needed. a rebuilt 100kw 4age twin cam fuel tank, upgraded brakes, suspension bits n peices, ecu loom ect ect
but then i spent about 1500-2k getting the thing put into the car, i did about 98% of the work myself, but as time was short and i wasnt too confident with the wiring i had an auto elect wire it up for me, Alex at InjectMaz, again top bloke knows his shit and specialises in conversions.
There is alot to think about when doing the conversion and the best advice i can give you is to research this site, there is HEAPS of information infact i would go as far to say that there is more than enough information on here than you will need to complete this conversion. Once you've done you research, plan out the conversion make sure you have everything you need before hand bolts tools fluids ect ect
Good luck with it, the corolla sure is a different beast when its got a new motor in it
