It came out at 130 - 135 per chamber. And it went up in steps (to 130) in each stroke. I looked in the service manual and it said that the piston rings are shagged if that happens ? is that right ? The manual listed the normal compression to be 171, although the manual mentions nothing about the 3T-GTE as its mostly about older engines and models like the original TA23 etc... Do you know what the compression specs should be ? The compression didn't seem to go down, and the manual suggested that if it stays its probably not the head gasket ?? The last thing is that 2 out of 4 spark plug holes were completely full of oil I think its just the rocker gasket, as the ones which were empty had good seals at the top and the other two had bits of gasket flaking out. Sheesh! I'm starting to regret paying $3900 for this car. On a good note, the body is in quite good condition, its just seems the engine is having trouble. Whats your thoughts ?
