Sun, 28 August 2005 12:11 I dont think there ever was an NA *z20 soarer, they were either 1g-gte's or 7m-gte's. gz20 and mz20 being the difference in engine, and the 1 on the end instead of the 0 eg. mz21 was the luxury model, so more options and more weight, not what u'd want for drift. Also if u wanted to still get one u'd really want a manual for drift, unfortunatly most were auto's from factory 95% of all produced so u'll have trouble finding a manual one, thats been unmodified and still in good condidtion. Your best bet is to grab urself and old RWD corolla, reliable, cheap, legal on P's and u can start modding that. That should allow you to save more $$ and then invest in a nice soarer by the time ur off your P's. + the skill in driving u will gain over the time of your p's in essentail to handeling a drifter. Not all fun and games when 1 mistake can mean your life or the life of your car. in all seriousness dude, grab a RWD corolla (ae71's are a nice choice) and learn and have fun in it. the soarers will still be around when u get off your p's.
