The head can be retrofitted to the 2T cylinder block, as the cylinder block is the same p/n. But you need to change the 2T cam, remove lifters etc, retrofit 2T-G timing gear, etc. etc. to make it work. 288 cams are sold but readvertised here by the new buyer for some reason. Nothing wrong with the cams, rather the buyer perhaps. Standard cams are being hardfaced and reground to 304/288 TRD profiles for my 1940CC 2T-G.
