there's a boost controller kit? Is it as good as an apexi evc-r?
I would also be wanting 3 bar map and possibly commander (that's hand controller yea?) and boost control kit.

for jza70

Thanks

I've been recomended by most tuners not to get the Apexi boost controller for the PowerFC, as it's apparently a huge pain in the arse to access through the hand controller menu, and doesn't work as effectively as other boost controllers out there anyway.

Personally I'll be purchasing the new Blitz SBCiC, as it has full boost staging with gears and rpm, every guage you could need on your car inbuilt, and on road dynograph.

Probably the same tuners that tried to put me off it who were either ignorant of the product, too lazy to educate themselves of the product or simply had an ulterior motive in trying to sell me their higher margin EBC Smile

It's simplicity in itself to access through the hand controller - easier than many menu-driven electronic boost controllers.
You can turn it on or off, you can switch between 4 pre-set boost settings and you can alter preset boost settings and each's duty cycle with one finger.
The solenoid is the same item as used in the Apexi AVC-R which in itself is superior in duty cycle to most other electronic boost controller solenoids on the market as tested in a comparison by Japanese tuner mag Revspeed.
I've been using said boost control kit with Power FC for 4 years with no issues whatsoever with reliability or accuracy - it may lack the features of the fancier/more expensive stand alone electronic boost controllers but in it's primary technical role of controlling boost, it is faultless in my experience.
