A setup like that isn't too bad for tuning, as long as the linkages and carbs are in good nick there is no reason for them to go out of tune often.

Multi carbs get a bad rap for tuning IMO because so many people try to use flogged out carbs.

Having played with webers for years, I haven't got a clue why anyone would think they could achieve more with them than EFI.
That weber setup would cost at least as much as a good programmable ecu, if not more. Confused
