Sun, 04 September 2005 11:04 I made up an adaptor to plug into the TPS and check it out for voltages and resistance. While I have the feeler gauge settings set up properly, it looks like the guts of it may be stuffed. As you open the throttle, the resistance between VTA and E2 should increase while the resistance between VTA and Vcc should decrease. ( E2 to Vcc is a resistor with VTA sweeping from one end of it to the other ) Mine likes to go open circuit. I may be able to try a spare 1G TPS tomorrow night. Will advise if this fixes it.
