one problem is that this seems to fly in the face of the other formula for hp.
CFM = Displacement x revs x VE x pressure ratio / 2
and hp is supposedly
HP = CFM x MAP x Comp / 288.6
Of course the CFM can be made more accurate through adding air filter losses and intercooler losses...tho hardly worth it if u are guestimating the VE lol!
so if the hp is correct then it would seem that u need the comp to accurately work out the hp
