Hey All.

My neighbour has killed her car and I am taking it off her hands.
I have an 86 SX model however hers is an 88 ST. I Know the engines are different and lack of power stuff etc etc.

Are the power steering interchangable?

Probably as they are the same chassis.

Alternator and stuff? What about engine bolt on pieces? Alternator etc?

Unlikely, I think the Exhaust Manifold is the same and thats about it.

Will the gearbox slot right in?

Yep, but I think the Starter motor is different, so NO.
