Dunno, if you're the small percentage on here who can make these yourselves or have a mate that can make them, then sure you can get them cheaper, but for the vast majority of us who don't have those contacts or resources, buying them is the only option.
Now if you're happy to pay $300 each for a brand name, sure go for it as I had to in the past, but if you want something in between that is reliable and well made, then this is an option.
Note that I've been reading on here for a few years about how easy and cheap it is to make these, yet I'm yet to find any info about them actually being made and made available to the public.
I asked John to make these for the 1JZGTE Soarer guys who have swamped him with interest and orders but also thought some on here may benefit - my apologies if I just wasted bandwidth.
John is offering these at cost in the hope that he will occasionally be paid to fit the odd set and tune the odd set on his dyno.
In the meantime if it's supply only on exchange, he's only helping the engineer who jigged up, made the centres and batch machines the outers pay for his overheads and pay for his time and in turn put food on his family's table - great if he just wants to support the local engineering industry instead of sending the work to China, but of little personal financial benefit.
Either way, if my post is of no general use to the masses, feel free to nuke it.
