Toyrota,, is that 67 like a light blue colored one?
I thought of imported a lowrider, till i found how much it'll cost.. so ,, umm I couldn't afford to run a huge V8, nor to buy one (maybe soon) so instead i've juiced my celica..
SOrt of an experiment as I can put the hydraulics into a larger car or minitruck later on.
I got pics up at:
http://www.geocities.com/unitylowridercc
goto members rides and click on "Scott - 83 Celica"
I got some AVI's up there but they're about 4MB each, anyone have the resources to convert these AVI's to MPEG? would be much appreciated.
I thought some V8 soarer's have the air adjustable suspensioN? it has a small compressor in the engine bay. You could use that as it gives a decent change in height. Or got air bag suspension but you wont get the shock absorbing you need.. Ppl think hydro's or air bag suspension is replacing your shox,, it duzn't, it just acts as an adjustable spring...
To stay on the road you need to run additional shox, if you wanna bounce then take off da shox. Will be at Cleveland Car show in QLD this Sunday (9th Feb 2003) if anyone wants to have a look and if it's not raining.
btw,, legality is still an issue, can be enginneer'd if you run shox and a slow system (12volt) most air bag systems are no worries, but hydros usually need additional shocks and or accumulators like citreons. And yes hydro's are super handy when going over things..
Got some side skirts but they're almost on the ground when fully lowered, have to raise it to go over stuff, just don't drive with it fully dumped.
And they weigh alot.. can get jap mini pumps to run off 1 or 2 batteries, just not super fast but they're small and light.
