I slightly modified the timing on my 4K-C to run 98 octane fuel. Quite simple really, fill your tank with 98 octane, start your engine, undo a bolt right next to your dizzy, then slowly turn your dizzy (you will hear your idle speed increase, this can be turned down again with the idle screw), keep going until you hear your engine start pinging (exactly what it sounds like hhahah), then turn it back a bit.
Then give it a test drive, giving it all the thrashing you can give it. If you hear pinging, turn it down a bit again, if you don't, you've successfully modified your timing for 98 octane fuel and you should notice a slight power increase...
