The trip meter i cant help you with, but the fan switch SHOULD come out without having to be cut out... you just need to pull your dash fascia panel(s) off... this is usually a heap of phillips head screws spred out all over the place... just remember if it dont come easy, look for what is jamming it... you dont wanna make the same mistake i made and snap the fascia by pulling it too hard... Razz (NOTE: Check behind the ashtray... there are usually a couple of screws there)
