Yeah I might have to look at disconnecting the vent and heat controls so I can get the whole thing out. Was trying to take the easy way to avoid breaking something that wasn't already broken so the less I have to remove / touch the better!

Will have a better look tomorrow and see if taking the dash out will help of something, anything so I can get a hand down there.
