MiNES ECU has a modified ROM from the factory unit. The modifications are usually higher boost (altered boost cut as well), elimination of speed limiter, higher rev limit. But however, they do accomodate for user requested features (say for example, WOT fuel/ignition maps to support a modified cam profiles, support larger aftermarket injectors etc., etc). There is no real way of telling what the exact modifications are (unless MiNES maintains records, you can track down the original owner or compare the factory ROM with the MiNES modified ROM).
These are very expensive units though  you could perhaps sell it and go totally programmable aftermarket. Try the mines website. It might list the default mods for the given ECU.
