I haven't got an exact figure except to say damn tall! I had my springs out of struts over the w/end and my brother (an automotive engineer) said they were unusually tall. When you take the top mount off the front strut the spring is far taller (perhaps 15cm) than an extended insert). I hope this helps allay your concerns.
