Having a no petrol day would do fuckall, even if you could somehow get every single person in australia to not by petrol on a designated day, also how would the people with no petrol in there cars/bike whatever get around....public transport? Suprise Suprise, they also need some type of fuel to run on so they would end up needing to go to the petrol station.
How are truckies ment to deal witha day like that, attach a rope to their ears and drag them along (yes its been done before, Guniess World Record)
It would have to be something much more dramatic and inconvenient to make the prices drop, ie. No petrol Week/Fortnight/Month, hell No petrol Year thatll work, everyone can trade their cars for horse drawn carriages, that'll get prices to drop and be a big incovenince.
Anyways thats my rant of boredem, im gona go eat some pizza now
