I generally use a piece of wood against the inner cv and a big hammer on the end of the wood, the idea is that it forces the C clip inside down and through the groove where it will come out easily. It doesnt take too much to knock one out, its actually quite easy if u do it right, dont attack the cv with a hammer incase you damage it.
