No they havn't been optimised for Japans fuel! The only thing done to this ecu is the speed limiter has been removed, higher boost, higher or no boost cut and the rev limit has been upped! I rang around today and found someone who gave me a straight answer!
I also asked if it could be tuned and was told its just a matter of getting all the specs of the engine and sending them away to japan with the ecu! However it cannot be tuned realtime on a dyno!
