Cool1 I believe you are correct.
THe Mines ECU are not 'Programmable' in the sense that an australian aftermarket ECU is.
Basically they are a Factory ECU that has had some components rewritten.
There is no facility to retune them yourself to suit further mods.
However it is definetly better than a factory ECU as it does have some higher settings. It is a big advantage to have this if you plan on doing some light mods to your engine.
People blow the Japanese Fuels way out of the water. Ask any of the guys runing GT4's if they ping on PULP and I think most of them will say no (at least if they haven't highly modded the engine)
