Thanks to everyone who replied to my post. I changed the plugs but still have smoke, tried the "pressurize the crankcase" test and got smoke. So the turbos need new seals/bearings. I sort of expected that considering the km's on the engine but I couldn't go past the chance to get a manual front cut! And if it does turn out to be valve stem seals..... there'll be tears before bedtime!
