Toyota has revised the gasket about 3 times now since the original gasket used in the late 80`s and half the issue was the factory torque setting rather then the gasket.

If i wasnt going to used a MHG i personally wouldnt touch anything but the Genuine gasket.

i bought a mono-torque kit, this has the gasket in it too, looks the same as a genuine toyota one. Will this not be as good? TOyota didnt do real good on the gasket to start with! Razz
