I am aware that 5800-6000k (white) is the ideal temp for best vision on the road. Now I know when u go up in temp the colour goes fromw white to blue to purple. Some newer cars have a purple look from the hid's but I find it hard to beleive the car company put higher k globes and would sacrifice the comfort in driving just to add a cool look. So if I am right and the purple looking light is still 5800-6000k, how do they get that effect?
Any ideas guys?

most globes here in japan go for whiter and crap but are terrible for driving....
i went back to philips Plus 60's instead of the.... PIAA Xtreme White.. sure they were whiter, but i couldn't see shit 
many many japanese things are for the cool look, instead of the functionality...
all i can say is, go for a drive with different globes and see how they look.
