the cam is a fairly stock cam, referd to as a LPG cam. i chose this one as it had minimal over lap. so i guess this isnt the problem. there isnt a intercooler but is a suck thru setup, the fuel kinda cools the air. (not much tho)
the guys got the timing spot on today and said it held good fuel pressure throughout the rev range.
the belt wraparound would be about 60% of the pulley. however, the tensioner isnt on the "power" side of the pulley if you get what i mean. so its not pulling tight the drive side of the pulley if it actually matters tho. ill have to check for air leaks, but its pretty good. i filled the system up with compressed air, about 12psi and it slowly dropped pressure but i gatherd maybe it was leaking out thru the rings and the engine was cold.
so you say that it should hold a constant 8psi.. so there is deffinatly somthing wrong then. how tight should the belt be? its just the normal V belt.
