This is a laptop that normally no one else will be using but on some occasions other people do get there hands on it.
I also manage a large computer network of more than a thousand users across the world. For this reason I can see the point of using third party software over native windows rubbish.
The only Microsoft software we run is we really really have to is windows its self. browsers and email clients are anything other than Microsoft.
