HQ series 308's had an engine prefix L31. 253's prefix was L32. Then the later 308's in the torana and HJ-HZ was L34. Of course this information is useless if the engine has been swapped. In any case remove a spark plug and manually crank the motor measuring the stroke from top dead centre to bottom dead centre . 308's had longer of the two. [Report message to a moderator]
