You can make it fit, but theres a little bit of work involved. You either need to make some new engine mounts, to lower the engine an inch, or get the brace bent up an inch to clear, but if you do it this way, you will also have to cut a hole in the bonnet for the brace to stick through.
This statement has not been authorised by anyone for anyone. All information stated in the above post should be completely ignored and if you do end up cutting a hole in your bonnet then you deserve to have your brace custom bent over your head. it is a straight fit, just do it, you know you want to.
