I did this in my Supra recently. You will need:
- proper sealed and vented battery box, securely attached to floorpan
- big fuck-off cable from battery -ve to a solid ground point on the chassis close to the battery (I used the rear seat belt anchor point)
- heavy-duty circuit breaker just after the battery, at least 100A (I used 150A but that may be overkill)
- battery isolation switch (optional, but a good idea)
- big fuck-off cable from battery +ve to the starter motor
- large-ish cable from the starter to a distribution point in the engine bay, which is where you attach everything that used to attach to the battery +ve
That's about it from memory. Nothing too taxing here, but it can be a bit of stuffing around if you're soldering the terminals on yourself, and routing the cable can be a whole lot of suck sometimes as well.
