VVT should be straight forward, your microtech would have an aux output for this does it? you only need to worry about the two wires going to the vvt plug.

so use AUX as signal, and what are the other two wires? ignition and ground? which is which? do I need signal from tacho? please if you can tell me more specific as i only got very little knowlege. I couldn't find it on the 20v wiring diagrams tho.

The hose from the rocker cover goes to the air intake main hose (between the AFM and the plenum). If you have the standard hose, there should be a moulded-in metal tube exiting the front side of this hose.

can I block it off if I am using open throttle? will the air inside still circulating after I blocked it?

The small vac line coming out of no4 TB snakes down and disappears under the plenum area with all the other vac lines (unfortunately I can't easily see what it connects to with the plenum in place and all the other bits and pieces in the view).

so it must be connected to one of those three unknow small tubes, please if you can, try to use your hand to find out if its connected to the one closest to the driver side or passenger side or the middle one? thanks
Also, I would like to know if I can get rid of the charcol canister, which is located next to the coolant resever in my AE86. If I want to keep it, where do I connect the hose to?( There are two hoses on the can, one connected to a metal line another one is disconnected at the moment.) and what is the purpose of charcol can by the way?
