I just put some more fuel in the beast and from last weeks figures: 20L --- 140kms = 14.2L/100km's
Something is definitely up, I might as well be driving a V8 with those figures.
I am running a standard RT-142 diff at the moment, I think they are around the 3.5 ratio, and I seldom rev her out anywhere close to redline.
I do not know what thermostat setup is in the car will have to have a look, I can ask the previous owner as well. Does the ecu give a code if your thermostat is faulty? My temp guage is always below half way when I drive.
I am told that even if the o2 is blocked up it will only give a failed o2 sensor code output if the unit is dead or damaged but not blocked up. Which could be the case.
I do not know how to pull a diagnostics code out of the ecu, I imagine I would need a handset to do this maybe?
I will do a search and see what I come up with.
