there is nothing on the actual nothing really on the lead..a tiny bit, but only where it's in contact with the engine itself.
My leads have square tops. The residue, is around the square top part. It's visible without removing the leads. i can open my bonnet and see it there straight away.
I'll check the radiator level next time, as it's full atm. I refilled about 5 days ago.
The hose wasn't pressurised, after i'd been driving for 45 mins, the thermostat was open and it most definately should have been pressurised by then. Which makes me think something is wrong somewhere, but i don't know when. As i said, i have looked extensively for leaks but can't find one.
I checked again, and maybe i was wrong, it's more a whitey bluey colour than a bluey greeny one. Anyway, i will replace my plugs tomorrow and see if that makes a difference. I'm going back to NGK. It won't solve my coolant leak, but it might? solve my residue thingi.
I simply cannot work out where the residue is coming from.
