Norbie Forums Junkie Location: Brisbane Registered: May 2002	Re: 18RG displaced to 2.4L Thu, 13 February 2003 08:25 Cliff from the Celica Car Club of Qld (show quality red RA28) has bored/stroked his turbo 18R-G to 2.4 litres. He used a 22R crank, 16R rods and custom pistons (same bore as 22R). A few people in the US have built 2.4 litre 18R-G's also. Note that a fair amount of machining is required to get a 22R crank in an 18R block, mostly for clearance of the counterweights I believe.
