(3sgte ST162) Tue, 04 October 2005 02:52 Not necessarily coz sometime the seals around the boot in the slave cylinder (or the master) can go and the fliud sqeezes past it without an external leak. But you still get some clutch disengaement. Also, usually if that is happening you will get a different amount of play from time to time depending how hard or fast you push the pedal in, and how much load is on the clutch. Get someone to watch the how much throw the arm at the slave actually gets when you push the clutch right in slowly. Then do it fast. See if you can pick up anything. If not then it is probably ok. I am just always suspicious if your pedal feel changes and you havent adjusted / been adjusting it yourself. [Report message to a moderator]
