Secondly the 88222 head has the biggest lift of any stock 2TG head I am aware of so be careful. These old girls are full impact heads so if the timing is too far out the piston will hit the valve and bugger everything ! This post is more for the newer mambers rather than you Jonny I know you are aware of that When the 88222 head was released emissions were not an issue so you can bet the stock cam timing is actually the "best" setting I wouldn't be changing it myself.
