Zero Davey Street A guy I play cricket with lives at Zero Davey. It would be my first pick. Very sweet You can get new and rebuilt apartments. Suburbs would be Battery Point, Glebe and Hobart for your criteria. These are no more than 10 minutes quick walk to the city centre. Haven't crossed Bass Straight for a while. Google TT-Line, they operate the ferry. If you can afford it, I would recommend getting a cabin. The boat has airline style seats, and they suck to try and sleep on. If you go the seats, get the business ones. DON'T get the economy ones!!! Ear plugs might be good if you get stuck next to a snorer, or there is a teething baby crying at 3am. Key streets to look for are Macquarie, Davey, Liverpool, Bathurst. I've lived on three of those, and they were all a nice stubby walk to Salamanca!!! This is basically were Hobart goes off I'll post the names of the other places to look at tomorrow. Your price will get you a good place. Cheers [Report message to a moderator]
