How hard are they to get at?
The reason platinium plugs last so long is that they are coated & don't spark as well as copper ones.
The reason they are used widely is for engines were they're hard to get at (turbo Subaru's, V6 front wheel drives) & reduces servicing costs under warranty.
If you want slightly more go, & the plugs aren't too hard to change, then I'd go the coppers.
