Hey hoff, tell me more about this diversity antenna thing. What does that mean?? Did some cars have a glass one & a telescopic one? Why?
As far as the original q goes. How many wires does your power antenna have and what are they labelled as?
It sounds like you have it all sorted other than the remote trigger. If there is a "power" wire other than this "trigger" wire then its easy. There will be a "remote antenna" wire with bugger all current coming from your head unit (aftermarket im assuming) which you can join it to to make it pop up when u turn the stereo on.
If there is only the "trigger" wire on the antenna and no other power wire then the unit will take power through this wire, and the "remote antenna" from the head unit will not do as there will not be enough current available. You would need to tap into your accessories wire and it would pop up & down when the key is turned past "accessories"
