Sometimes it can also be a crook mount or the gearbox oil may be too thick or need changing start with those things then look at the gearbox once you have tried them all. some people use atf in these gearboxes which i have seen make a difference and have had no problems with the gearbox while attending many track days The ATF is a good trick, I changed the oil in mine last week and it was crunching horribly before i mixed some atf into it, could barely get it into second without double clutching [Report message to a moderator]
