Depends how bad the syncro is shot. I put in 500mL of ATF, that was after it was already full of the other stuff though. So what I did was put the car up on stands, so the gearbox was tilted, and that way I could get the extra fluid in there without it just draining out on me. Put the plug in, went for a quick drive to mix the fluids together (though ozmosis would probably do this anyway), parked it on flat ground and took out the fill plug and let it drain the extra fluid out. Much easier shifting and no crunch downshifting into second provided I'm not downshifting too early (40km/h approx) - that's once it's up to temp [Report message to a moderator]
