If i can get a definite list together of what would be needed, i will let the import place know, as i told them this halfcut doesn't have all the parts i need for my conversion and the fella said he will get them for me, but once he sees the list of whats needed i hope they will just take the soarer cut back and get me a jza70 cut. But a list will be good for me to wiegh up weather or not to keep the cut and source the parts i need.

jza70 engine crossmember
jza70 gearbox crossmember
jza70 1jz-gte sump
jza70 manual pedal set
Jza70 Power steering Pipes
Jza70 Aircon pipes/air compressor?
Jza70 Intercooler and piping?
Jza70 Air intake piping?
Jza70 Wiring Loom? (would make it a plug and play affair then)
anything else?
Jza70 Gearbox Shifter (jzz30 ones are shorter)?

Thanx for your support guys.

*Bangs head in frustration* either way i look at it my supra is gonna take 10 times longer to convert to 1jz. (waiting for parts or waiting for proper halfcut)

You have a manual Soarer half-cut????! with the R154? Surely this would be rarer and hence of more value than a manual jza-70 cut?

Anyway, I can only see heartache and frustration from here on in! Is your ma70 a post '88 one? If not you'll need the power steering rack and progressive power steering ECU.
Wiring will not be plug and play but much easier if a jza70 than jzz30.
Lots of little shit like brackets for various bits, radiator and fan/shroud, ma70 pedal box is the same but you'll need a turbo clutch master syliner and slave cylinder is different to W58 gear.
Post '88 Supra mounts should be the same for ma70 as jza70 (round fluid filled rubber ones).

for crUZsida you can understand wanting to use the stock intercooler etc to save on cost and time and perhaps upgrade later.

From memory the fuel pump relay and circuit is a bit different for the jzz30 too.

Do both jza and jzz have the same hydrauliic fan setup with fan control computer and temp sensor in bottom of radiator?

All in all using the jzz30 cut would be possible, but definately more $$ and time. And probably look messier than a straight transplant of all jza70 gear into the ma70.
