No idea how tough it is but not very i suspect. I was actually surprised how well it worked with the 4K but certainly not a peformance enhancer...more a comfortable cruiser. The engine is sweet and a good buy as a 3K upgrade or the basis for some mods. The tranny will suit the restorer or period enthusiast. I just want these gone so make an offer.
