yeh sounds almost like a slipping clutch..flat change 1st to 2nd..if it doesn't cherp the wheels your clutch is on it's way..and by doing that you have only made it worse Wink

my 86 does 4500 on the freeway..dam diff ratios!! only way to get torque from a NA 1.6..
