I was rumaging through some images of crazy jap modified cars and came across this... What CAR is this? I don't even know.
This one is an S13, but still crazy...
Now I know the whole 5m in the air exhaust system deal, and big long bonnet... umm... pedestrian scoops (what the hell else could they be for?) but this? Looks like they covered their car in Styrofoam.

Judging by the shape of the window glass they're both S13's.

You'll find that those rectangular headlights are from a C110 Silvia. Fitting those headlights are a very common modification with those Yanki style cars, particularly with the C110 & 210 Skylines.

Those are lines to feed the oil cooler, they usually route them outside the bumper (along with the oilcooler it's self most of the time), pretty dodgy and they're usually not even hooked up. It's totally cosmetic. Again It's also a very common mod with those Yanki style cars, just one of many mods which mimic the Japanese domestic touring cars of that era.
Believe it or not those box flares and crazy splitters on the first s13's have are just aping the Group 5/Formula Silhouette race cars of the 70s/80s (With alot of creative licence too though).
I wrote a massive post explaining a few things about these cars a while ago, do a search if anyone's interested.
