Nice work man! Looks like the project is coming along smoothly! Good idea to do the new rack and suspension bits while everything is apart too - wish I had the same foresight! Very Happy

About the questions you asked in the ST162 thread;

- Yes, using the original radiator hoses will be ok but you'll need to cut 40 ~ 50mm off the top end end of the bottom hose to make it fit.

- Yeah, i just used the original thermoswitch. Seeing as I didn't use the original A/C wiring I pinched the wires for the A/C pressure sensor for the switch wiring - saves pulling the loom apart to run extra wires.

I got the housing done by a workshop. They cut the threaded bit that sticks out of the original housing off, welded it to the new housing then drilled out the centre hole so that the coolant could get up to the switch. If you look at the pictures of mine, a fraction lower and toward the dipstick would've been the perfect position. My one is ok spot... just a little too close to the alternator for my liking.
