Hey there, LPG works really well in a car's aircon (as long as there are no leaks for it to be ignited)
when changeing from the old r12 gas to the new r132 gas, what they do is put different adapters onto the line's to fill them up, re-do all the seal's, put a new tx valve in, a new reciver drier, and add oil no.8 into the aircon pump.
i've never seen them make new line's for the aircon unless one is broken, but most of the time they will just get a second hand one...
