dukes-im pretty happy with it..but my previous rides have been a 1.3l civic and a stock ta22 so to say the least the 18rg is an improvement...hopefully it wil go even harder if i tune this carbs...
i just got back from a carby place and asked him about the carbs im a bit short on money so i asked wat would be the worst...he said that both carbs needing a rebulild which will be about $250 per carb...i dont want to pay that much atm the cant afford it..but its hard for mechanics to say wat it is goin to cost without looking at it...i could just be a bad gasket i dunno, anyway ive booked in for him to have a look at it but i cant see myself driving away sayin thanks but no thanks...
im taking it to my mates work where there is a bloke who could have a tinker with it and wouldnt try and force me into a rebuild so im taking it there on friday and if all goes well ill cancel the booking for tuesday at the carby place...
does anyone have experience with twin solexs?
if it has been sitting in storage for a while would that affect the carb?(i ask this because the pervious owner had it in storage for a while)
